Sarah Kalil

Sarah provides legal and strategic advice on complex business issues. Sarah’s practice includes acquisitions or sale of a business, corporate formation and reorganization, and venture capital financing. She also acts as outside general counsel in connection with her client’s day-to-day operations, from start-up through to exit. Prior to joining Zargar Lawyers, Sarah practiced law in a multi-national law firm. Sarah’s experience also includes a secondment to the Vancouver Canucks in-house legal team, and extensive practice in technology and media including intellectual property and licensing arrangements. She also served for 5 years as the President of Women in Film and Television (Vancouver), and obtained a professional coaching credential with the International Coach Federation. Sarah’s cross-section of experience – law, entertainment, sports, technology, non-profit, leadership and governance – provides immense value to her clients and uniquely positions her to achieve the best outcome for her clients in all areas of business.
