Student Program

We are committed to providing our students with an exceptional learning experience by involving them in all aspects of our practice including structuring deals, attending to due diligence and meeting with clients. As such, we look for students interested in not only business law, but the business of law. We provide our students with insight into the emerging company ecosystem in a highly transactional environment, giving them the opportunity to develop both legal and business acumen.

Our team is our most prized asset. We foster and develop the qualities necessary to succeed in the organization through professional development, positive reinforcement, team-building activities and cultural social outings.

We offer our articling students the opportunity to participate in two rotations in business law: transactions and dispute resolution. Greater emphasis is placed on the transactions rotation; however, to ensure that our students receive well-rounded articles, we will expose our students to dispute resolution files, as they occur during their articles. Our firm has a strategic growth plan in place and has every expectation that the right student will be retained as a permanent member upon successful completion of the articling program.

We compensate our member, and our students, competitively and in line with the trends among downtown Vancouver law firms.
